Visual Art prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Grand Prize ($5000), 2D Runner Up ($1000), 3D Runner Up ($1000) and Juried($1000). The Visual Art Grand Prize winner will also receive the honor of displaying his/her piece in the Akron Art Museum for one month following the festival.

3-D - SculptureTwo dragonflies carved out of black walnut root with wings of cooper sheeting, cooper wire legs and eyes of glass are found resting in a pond setting of driftwood, grasses and lily pads of cooper sheeting mounted on a mirrored surface. A scene of what lies below the surface is painted on the framework with acrylics.
